Time+Space take a trip to Birmingham for BPM 2010

Friday, October 8th, 2010

BPM 2010Last weekend (2-4 October) Time+Space attended top DJ show BPM at the Birmingham NEC. This was our first year exhibiting at BPM where we shared a stand with one of the UK’s largest DJ retailers Westend DJ. In complete contrast to Producer Sessions the week before, BPM was heaving with DJ gear, dazzling light displays and all manner of dance music cranked up to the max!

With promotional bags filled, banners on display and the popular T+S Test Station in place, staff enjoyed chatting and giving advice to visitors about the latest virtual instruments, sample libraries and hardware. We’d like to say a big thank you to those of you who completed one of our Time+Space surveys – your feedback is really useful to us!

A weekend at Producer Sessions Live

Tuesday, September 28th, 2010
Jon, our Product Specialist

Jon, our Product Specialist

This past weekend, we headed up to London’s School of Audio Engineering (SAE) for the first ever ‘Producer Sessions’. Hosted by Future Publishing, the event hosted intimate production tutorials and lecturers from top producers including Freemasons, Dave Spoon, Danny Byrd, Nu-Tone and Alex Blanco, among others. As well as the tutorials, top brands such as Roland, Korg, Steinberg and Akai were also at the event showing off all their latest gear.

We filled our allocated empty studio space with Test Stations, banners, microphones, hardware and T+S goody bags ready to indulge visitors with invaluable advice on the latest virtual instruments, sample libraries and hardware from the likes of Spectrasonics, Toontrack, Rob Papen, Sample Magic, ESI, Sontronics and more.

We had a great time meeting and chatting with visitors, many of whom we were pleased to hear are already using products from T+S brands. Spectrasonics Trilian and Omnisphere plus Toontrack’s Beatstation were certainly the most asked about instruments and it was fantastic to be able to demonstrate first hand the endless possibilities of these products. Visitors were also clearly impressed by Sample Magic’s book ‘The Secrets of House Music Production’ as it outsold all other products on sale at the show!

Check out the photos (please excuse the quality – the T+S camera needs an upgrade!)… Read More
