Time+Space at the Analog to Digital 2011 show in Exeter

Analog to Digital 2011 posterAnalog to Digital is a music making based exhibition at the Phoenix Arts Centre in Exeter, Devon organised by Sound Gallery Studios. The 2011 show took place at the weekend and it was bigger and better than ever with a variety of different companies giving demonstrations and tutorials throughout the day. Our fellow exhibitors included Native Instruments, Allen & Heath, Eigenlabs, Ohmforce, Sound on Sound and Yamaha UK to name but a few.

The Time+Space room featured regular demonstrations of the new ‘Omni TR’ iPad App from Spectrasonics Omnisphere as well as dance music production masterclasses from Dave Amso A.K.A ‘D-Product’ who shared some trade secrets on how to get your tracks sounding big, punchy and ready for the dancefloor. Here are a few pictures from the day…

I've been lucky enough to be involved in developing, testing, manufacturing, marketing and selling sample libraries and virtual instruments for over 10 years. During this time I've seen a lot of great new software being released, some of it changing how computer based music is produced. It's this creativity and innovation which makes this industry very exciting and truly inspirational.
